Altus AFB Police Week 2014

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Airmen from the 97th Security Forces Squadron perform a 21-gun salute during the annual Police Week retreat ceremony at the Wings of Freedom Park May 15, 2014. The firing of the 21-gun salute is a long standing military tradition and today it pays tribute to all law-enforcement officers’ lives lost in the past year. Police Week events included: The Sheep Dog Shootout, the “Gut Check” Challenge, wreath laying and retreat ceremonies and concluded with a golf tournament.
