ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Col. Bill Spangenthal, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander, fires an M9 pistol during the annual Sheepdog Shootout at the base firing range May 12, 2014. The shootout consisted of multiple targets spread across the range and tested shooting skills while moving and was judged based on time and accuracy. Police Week events included: The Sheep Dog Shootout, the “Gut Check” Challenge, wreath laying and retreat ceremonies and concluded with a golf tournament.
