Military Working Dogs

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Tillman, a military working dog, runs across the training course during obedience training March 20, 2014. Military working dogs go through a120-day program to teach the dogs basic obedience as well as more advanced skills, such as how to attack and how to detect specific substances. Once the dogs receive their initial training, members of the 97th Security Forces Squadron teach the dogs and their trainers to work as a team through daily training routines.
