Altus AFB Network Communications Center Ground Breaking
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Tanya Anderson, 97th Civil Engineer Squadron commander; U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Stephen Esposito, 97th Communications Squadron commander; U.S. Air Force Col. Bill Spangenthal, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander; Mark Lamberty, Altus AFB contractor and Mike Pierce, 97th Contracting Squadron director of business operations, break ground on the network communications center building addition, March 14, 2014. The building addition will be used to unite the 97th CS into one building and prepare for future operations. The project started in 2009 and will cost $1.6 million.
