Altus Airmen support humanitarian assistance mission to Haiti

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Sixteen pallets of humanitarian cargo containing rice, beans and corn meal bound for Haiti await processing onto 463L master pallets. These pallets are to be moved onto a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft for proper export to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Dec. 12, 2013. The food is in support of the Denton Amendment, a program that provides relief to Haitian citizens by making the transportation of humanitarian aid possible.
