Airmen develop expeditionary skills
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Nathan Dunnigan, 97th Security Forces Squadron expeditionary skills combat arms instructor, prepares a weapon for simulated shooting with the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 training simulator Nov. 21, 2013. The weapons used with the EST 2000 are designed to look, shoot and feel like a real weapon, enhancing familiarization prior to shooting at a live weapons range. Weapons supported by the EST 2000 at Altus AFB include the M4 carbine, M16A2 rifle, M9 pistol, M249, M240 machine gun and the M203 grenade launcher.
