Airmen develop expeditionary skills

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Expeditionary skills students shoot in the prone position during a combat arms class using the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 training simulator Nov. 21, 2013. The weapons used with the EST are designed to look, shoot and feel like real weapons, enhancing familiarization prior to shooting at a live range. Weapons supported by the EST 2000 at Altus AFB include the M4 carbine, M16A2 rifle, M9 pistol, M249, M240 machine gun and the M203 grenade launcher.
