Airman 1st Class Stephanie Echeverria-Correa, 97th Force Support Squadron personnel readiness specialist, is Airman of the Week for Oct. 28. In her personal time, Echeverria-Correa developed an outstanding retainability tracker. The tracker determines how much retainability a deploying Airman must have before his or her departure to ensure he or she is eligible to fill the tasking. Not only does it assure accuracy of the member’s records, it also secures classified information, cuts down on the Airman’s out-processing time and alleviates customer traffic in the career development office. On average, it takes up to 25 minutes to pull necessary information from different areas in Military Personnel Data System to determine this data; However, the tracker saves 15 minutes per person. Echerverria-Correa is proficient on daily tasks and is constantly finding ways to improve procedures to make the deployment process smooth and easy.
