ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – John Kneisel, 97th Air Mobility Wing Maintenance Division A-Team member, stands under the wing of a C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft during a 720-day home station refurbishing Oct. 10, 2013. Periodically, this inspection occurs to ensure the aircraft is operationally ready by cleaning and refurbishing unserviceable and malfunctioning system and structural components. Panel removal and recalibration of the seats, airdrop systems and cleaning of inner floor panels account for a most of the restoration. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Jesse Lopez/Released)
