Master Sgt. Lizette Delapaz, 97th Medical Operations Squadron Mental Health flight chief ensured the continued education of the providers and technicians with the Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT), and Family Advocacy Clinics. She has organized and delivered more than 50 training classes for 13 personnel, assuring the certification requirements for four psychologists and social workers, as well as two technicians. MSgt Delapaz has partnered with the Defense Centers for Excellence (DCoE), to bring virtual trainings to the Mental Health Flight, eliminating the cost for TDYs and saving the USAF an estimated amount of more than $20,000.
