Altus AFB hosts 19th AF commander
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael Keltz, 19th Air Force commander, meets with U.S. Air Force Col. Bill Spangenthal, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Shannon Rix, 97th Mission Support Group chief, as Keltz arrives at Altus AFB Nov. 13, 2014. Keltz recently assumed command of the 19th Air Force and is responsible for more than 30,000 U.S. Airmen and allied students annually to include those at Altus AFB. Keltz visited Altus AFB as part of a familiarization tour to learn more about the wings assigned to him and to spread the mission statement of creating fifth-generation Airmen.
