ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S Army Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion 14th Field Artillery Regiment, 214th Fires Brigade, Fort Sill, secure a U.S. Army High Mobility Artillery Rocket System to a U.S Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft during a joint training mission at Altus AFB, Nov. 6, 2014. This operation validates the joint interoperability and capability of the HIMARS and the Air Force’s long range flight capabilities which provide no notice, extended range precision rocket and missile fires to combatant commanders.
