ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – The Altus AFB Dog Park is now open and ready for use as of Oct. 16, 2014. The park was built by the 97th Civil Engineer Squadrons Dirt Boyz as one of the projects from winning the 2014 Commander In Chief’s Installation Excellence Award. The rules for the park include to pick up your own pet’s waste, close gates before removing leashes, no alcohol or tobacco and to be respectful to other owners and dogs.
