ALTUS, Okla. – Members of the Altus Air Force Base Fire Department partnered with the City of Altus Fire Department, the Elmer Volunteer Fire Department and the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department to extinguish a cotton bi-product fire Jan. 20, 2015 at the Humphrey’s Co-Op in Jackson County, Okla. The Altus Air Force Base Fire Department works closely with 10 local fire departments to provide assistance to the local community when available and when needed.
