Clearing the flightline

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Michael McCoy, 97th Civil Engineer Squadron heavy repair shop journeyman, drives a snow broom on the flightline, Feb. 27, 2015. McCoy sweeps the snow from a 13,000 foot runway clearing the center line to allow pilots to safely take off and land aircraft. When the snow gets too deep for the broom, the Airmen in the heavy repair shop also use a snow plow to keep the flightline clear. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class J. Zuriel Lee/Released)
