ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Rachel Pavlich, 97th Medical Operations Squadron public health technician, explains the different sections under public health, such as community health, occupational health, and deployment medicine during the career fair at the Freedom Community Center, March 17, 2015. Community health deals with preventative medicine and food inspections, occupational health deals with safety hazards such as making sure people are wearing their personal protective equipment and deployment medicine ensures personnel are medically cleared to deploy.
