Airman of the Month Program
Wing Public Affairs photojournalist, grew up in Winnsboro, Texas, after graduating from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Sociology, he and his wife moved to Raleigh, N.C. It was there he decided to enlist in August 2013. He documented a static line jump training with the Army National Guard and 58th Airlift Squadron, capturing the importance of joint training translating to real world missions—his story and photos reached Air Force Headlines, sharing the Altus AFB story with massive audiences. Finally, he recently garnered three Air Education and Training Command Public Affairs Awards, including Best News Article, Outstanding New Writer, and second place for Pictorial Photography.
