Altus AFB meets presidential executive order goal, reduces carbon footprint

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Nathan Clark, 97th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs photojournalist, places a plastic bottle into a designated recycling container Aug. 12, 2016 on Altus Air Force Base, Okla. The designated recycling bins are used to separate plastic and aluminum to help reduce the amount of solid waste Altus AFB produces in accordance with the Presidential Executive Order – Planning for Federal Sustainability in the Next Decade.
