Altus Environmental Team use microbes to filter ground water

A demonstration made by Mary Bitney, the Remedial Project Manager at Altus Air Force Base, Okla., shows how manmade chemicals look inside the ground water, Jan. 29, 2020. The 97th AMW began the process of groundwater filtration 15 years ago as a pilot project. Charles Butchee, the restoration program manager at the time, saw how effective the results of the bioreactors were and began the construction project of base bio walls.
