First-of-its-Kind FTX Puts Altus Airmen's Leadership Skills to the Test
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Ashton Jolly, 97th Civil Engineer Squadron(CES) pegasus flight lead for Airmen Leadership School (ALS) Class 26 Alpha, radios for medical evacuation while Senior Airman Dustin Wright, 97th CES student of ALS Class 26 Alpha, provides security for a simulated downed pilot on Dec. 12, 2025 at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This field training exercise was its first iteration to the local ALS curriculum designed to develop agile, front-line supervisors–the course focusing on communication, teamwork, and decision-making in degraded, high-stress environments.
