While many focus on giving gifts, others give time to worthy causes and those in need of assistance. Among these selfless few are the men and women deployed overseas during the holidays. The Army and Air Force Exchange Service is making it easy to give those defending our freedom a small token of appreciation. Gift cards, available in values from $10 to $500, can be purchased at any AAFES store or online at www.aafes.com . Cards are redeemable at any AAFES, Navy or Marine Corps exchange facility worldwide. The American Red Cross will distribute the gift cards to military personnel deployed overseas in support of ongoing military operations. Also, the Air Force Aid Society agrees to accept gift cards from individuals or companies who choose to contribute the cards to Air Force members and their families. Additionally, gift cards will be distributed by the United Service Organizations (USO) to military personnel and their families.
