ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 97th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs office will host the wing’s “Valentines for Vets” program from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 14, 2018.
Valentines for Vets is a program where military members and civilians collect locally made valentines and distribute them to retirement centers.
Over 50 military members and civilians assigned to Altus AFB are expected to visit with and distribute valentines to more than 200 veterans at five different locations. The locations scheduled to be visited are the Oklahoma Veterans Center, Clinton Division, Clinton, OK, English Village Manor, Plantation Village Assisted Living Center, Plantation Village Nursing Center, and Tamarack Assisted Living Center, Altus, OK.
