ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 97th Air Mobility Wing will be conducting joint training with units from Ft. Sill between April 19-21, 2023. The training seeks to ensure joint readiness and interoperability between mobility’s hometown and Ft. Sill.
During the exercise there will be vehicles and equipment that are not normally present on Altus Air Force Base.
A temporary disruption to normal gate operations the morning of April 19 is expected for a short period of time between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The outbound lane of the main gate will be closed to traffic while the equipment from Ft. Sill is transported through. All personnel are encouraged to exit the installation through the south gate during this time.
