ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 97th Air Mobility Wing will be conducting joint training with units from Ft. Sill on Aug. 20, 2025. The training seeks to ensure joint readiness and interoperability between Altus Air Force Base and Ft. Sill.
During the exercise there will be vehicles and equipment that are not normally present on and around Altus Air Force Base.
A temporary disruption to normal gate operations during the mornings of Aug. 20 is expected for a short period of time at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There may be more traffic than normal on US-62 W from Lawton to Altus during the morning of Aug 20.
