    Veterans Day is a time to honor all of America’s veterans for their courage and selfless service. The 97th Air Mobility Wing (AMW) did just that by partnering with members from the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4876 to pay respect to veterans in Altus, Oklahoma, Nov. 10-11, 2021.

    Bonded by Service: Airpower and agriculture come together during Farm City Week

    Less than three percent of the United States’ population are either in the military or work in agriculture. However, both groups serve their nation by providing key elements to society: safety and sustenance. Airmen of the 97th Air Mobility Wing and members of the Altus agriculture industry took time to learn more about what each group does on a day to day basis during Altus’ annual Farm City Week, Nov. 3-4.

    552nd OG visits 56th ARS to discuss interoperability improvements, combat readiness

    Members of the 552nd Operations Group from Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, visited Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, for a “crosstalk” with members from the 56th Air Refueling Squadron. The visit was to learn more about the KC-46 Pegasus and E3 Sentry interoperability.

    AAFB Wraps Up Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
