PRE- INPROCESSING: 

• Salesforce (ASIMS) Account Setup: Prior to arrival, all students are required to create an account in our Salesforce database, ASIMS (Aircrew Student Information Management System).
  • About a month prior to your class start date, complete & sign the ASIMS Mobile Device Use Policy (posted below) and save as "Last Name, First Name – ASIMS Mobile Device Use Policy".
  • Then send an email from your .mil email with the signed policy attached to 97TRS.Inprocessing@us.af.mil . Use this subject line format for all email traffic: rank, first and last name, airframe/course, class start date (ex: Capt John P. Smith, C17PIQ, 4 Nov 2024).
  • Once we activate your account, you will receive an email (at your .mil email account) from support@salesforce.com (may need to check junk/spam folder, or the Other tab if you have the Focused Inbox in Outlook). The link expires in 24 hours.  Failure to activate your account will slow your in-processing and may result in being sent home for not meeting course prerequisites. You must log into Salesforce (ASIMS) every 30 days to remain active!
  • For Salesforce (ASIMS) account access issues, contact our database administrator, Adrian Perry- Rountree via text at (580) 301-4860 or email adrian.perry-rountree@us.af.mil with your full name and a thorough description of your issue. Password reset feature on your end does not work.
• Complete both prerequisite checklists: You will need to complete the Altus Common Checklist and the Course Specific Checklist.
  • Both checklists must be signed by your Sq/CC or authorized representative (DO, training shop, etc.).
  • The Altus Common Checklist must also be signed by your Security Manager.
  • Unsigned or self-signed checklists will be rejected.

• Upload documents to your Salesforce account: NLT 3 weeks prior to your class start date, please upload your completed/signed checklists and all supporting documentation requested on the checklists. Please note this is a change from our previous deadline of 2 weeks prior. Please bear with us as we are working to update our checklists with the new earlier requirement.
  • Click the Document Checklist Item Name for each item you need to upload. You can only upload one attachment for each Document Checklist Item Name.
    • Each course requires a different set of documents! We may not require a document for every Document Checklist Item, refer to your specific prerequisite checklists. Disregard the Document Checklist Items not required by your checklist.
    • You will need to click on the “Submit Document for Review” button for each document you upload. It will ask you if you are sure, and then click finish. * If you fail to complete this step your documents will not show up in our queue to be reviewed. *
    • When you have successfully uploaded a document, the status should change from new to pending.
    • We will accept or reject each document in Salesforce and provide reviewer comments for anything rejected.
    • To replace a rejected document, click on the document and then click the drop-down arrow to select “Upload New Version” and/or “Edit File Details”. Please note that it keeps the name of the original file unless you edit the file details when you upload the new document.
  • If your complete package is not ready by the deadline, go ahead and submit what you do have and send us an email with a status update on what you are missing. Overdue reminders go out to your leadership at 2 weeks (and again at 1 week) prior to your class start date!

• Sign up for Mattermost: Be sure to add the 97 TRS team and student channels (instructions below).
• Please notify our office if you are rescheduled or removed from this course. If your class is rescheduled, and you have already uploaded documents for the previous class, let us know and we’ll move them over to the new class once we see the new class in Salesforce. 
• Flight Physicals and Medical Flying Waivers: Flight physicals and medical flying waivers must be current at least 30 days past your Altus grad date. These items must be completed before arriving at Altus AFB. AAFB Flight Med is not staffed to complete student physicals and flying waivers.
• Leave Policy: Students should not arrive at AAFB with pre-coordinated leave. We cannot guarantee leave during training! See Student Pass & Leave Policy for more information.
• Waivers: If you require a prerequisite waiver to be approved by our WG/CC or 19 AF/A3 please submit it ASAP. Waivers require a couple of weeks lead time to work their way through the approval process. Last minute waivers are less likely to be approved.
• Read the Reporting Instructions, Student Handbook, and all memos/policies posted on this website.
