Altus' AMC Rodeo teams are announced

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla.— Col. John S. Oates, 97th Operations Group commander, and Col. Jon T. Thomas, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander, stand with the members of the 97th AMW Rodeo Red River Riders C-17 Globemaster III Aircrew Team for the 2011 Air Mobility Command Rodeo. The AMC Rodeo is a mobility rodeo competition between units from around the world that will be held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. July 23-30. From the 58th Airlift Squadron, team chief, Maj. Matt Inscoe, and team members Captains Wes Skenfield, Ben Tarkowski, Tech Sgt. Steve Brown, and Staff Sgt. Jake Ellis, will be competing low level navigation and airdrop, aircrew engine running onload and offload, short field landing, receiver air-to-air refueling, aircraft backing and combat offloads.
