Altus renames street to honor fallen Airman
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Staff Sgt. Damien Mount and Senior Airman Brandon Rodriguez, both part of the 97th Communications Squadron, unveil Bubacz Street, formerly 5th Street, which runs next to the 97th CS building. The street was renamed during a ceremony April 7 in honor of Staff Sgt Andrew S. Bubacz, who was the first Altus Airman to die while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
