Fire prevention week
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Kristopher Norwood, 97th Operations Group deputy commander, and U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Matthew Thrune, 58th Airlift Squadron superintendent, carry a dummy out of a smoky room during this year’s Fire Prevention Week group commanders and chiefs challenge Oct. 9, 2014. Participants in the challenge were timed on how fast they could locate and evacuate a smoke-filled room while wearing a fully functioning firefighter outfit.
