Altus Airman provides Taser training to community police officers
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Joshua Leech, 97th Security Forces Squadron certified Taser X26 Training Master Instructor, explains the components of the Taser firing portion of training Aug. 26, 2015. During the training, Altus Police Department officers learned Taser-specific nomenclature, which breaks down how the Taser functions, how to use it, the different uses of force, case law decisions which determine if a use of force is justified in a specific situation and more.
