ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Airmen from the 97th Civil Engineer Squadron load recyclable plastics in to a truck, April 1, 2015. The plastic bottles will be transported to Fort Sill, to be recycled, as part of a new agreement between the two installations. Altus AFB cannot process plastics locally and would have to resort to using landfills, but found a better option by partnering with the Fort Sill recycling program.
