  • 97th CPTS launches online portal, improves communication

    Airmen from the 97th Comptroller Squadron will launch the Comptroller Services Portal on August 3, 2020. The CSP is a user-friendly interface that delivers virtual CPTS customer service to active duty Air Force and civilian Airmen from any location. The website can be used to create and submit all active duty Air Force military pay, travel pay, and civilian pay inquiries.

  • Mobility‚Äôs Hometown welcomes six new commanders this summer

    The 97th Air Mobility Wing celebrated one flight, three squadron, and two group changes of command in of June and July of 2020. In chronological order, U.S. Air Force Col. Judy Rattan took command of the 97th Medical Group, Lt. Col. Keaton Askew took command of the 97th Operations Support Squadron, Maj. Jonathan Esquivel took command of the 97th Contracting Flight, Maj. Andrew McFee took command of the 97th Security Forces Squadron, Maj. Travis Rush took command of the 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron and Col. David Vanderburg took command of the 97th Mission Support Group.

  • KC-46 completes its first aeromedical evacuation mission

    Over the course of six flights and 17 hours, the mission, which originated at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, transited five patients and two attendees to Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia; Patrick Air Force Base, Florida; and Travis AFB, California. The mission was evaluated by the Air Force Testing and Evaluation Center.
