ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Airmen and civilians assigned to Altus Air Force Base will spend time with local veterans this Valentine’s Day, February 14th at 10:00 a.m.
The volunteers will pass out valentines handmade by local children to veterans at the English Village Manor, Plantation Village Assisted Living and Nursing Centers and Tamarack Assisted Living Center. Media are welcome at all three locations.
This annual event gives active-duty Airmen a chance to interact with veterans and share a bond of military service that spans generations.
