Altus AFB Fire Department to host Final Alarm Ceremony Sept. 11

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 97th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department is scheduled to conduct a Final Alarm Ceremony at the Altus AFB Fire Department Sept. 11, 2013, to honor the 343 firefighters and the 23 New York City Police officers who lost their lives Sept. 11, 2001.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. News organizations are invited to cover the ceremony and should confirm attendance no later than 96 hours prior to the event.
