HVAC Underground
97th Air Mobility Wing
June 9, 2016 | 1:35
In the mission of HVAC, to catch a suspect, sometimes you have to go underground. Like today, you can find Altus's very own investigator, Senior Airman Badon, underneath the base and on the case.
While checking the pipes for integrity a different culprit was discovered. A pesky sump pump had given out, letting the tunnel flood with ground water. Lowered into the tunnel, a new sump pump stands guard of the cooling lines, the life blood of comfort. And while we enjoy the AC they provide, HVAC tends to work outside.
And no matter the weather or the depths they must go, HVAC is always on the case to solve the mysteries behind your cooling needs. Reporting for Altus AFB, I'm Airman James Johnson.
