Donnie and Davey Obreiter are both maintainers for the 97th Maintenance Squadron at Altus Air Force Base. When they are not contributing to maintaining the aircraft assigned to the 97th Air Mobility Wing, in their free time, they are maintaining and manning a still operational B-29 Superfortress. Donnie and Davey explain that their careers in aviation maintenance goes beyond a living and how it’s their shared passion.
