ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --

Various groups and squadrons of the 97th Air Mobility Wing conducted an active shooter exercise at L. Mendel Rivers Elementary School at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Aug. 10, 2022. Exercises of this nature are critical to evaluate Department of Defense response actions to a lockdown incident and to prepare in the most realistic manner.
