Vehicle MX shop ensures mission readiness

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Airman Tanner Peterson, 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron fire truck and refueling maintenance shop mechanic, disconnects an air line in the engine compartment of a P-23 crash truck during a preventative maintenance inspection inside the vehicle maintenance shop, July 23. The P-23 crash truck requires scheduled maintenance inspections after every 150 hours of drive time to guarantee constant preparedness for base emergency response.
