ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Airmen from the 97th Air Mobility Wing will conduct a Readiness and Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear exercise July 11-15, 2022.
The exercise events occurring throughout the week will have minimal impact to the normal daily activities of local residents. On July 14, 2022, the running track will have limited access from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Emergency response vehicles and first responders will respond accordingly during the exercise, and should not be cause for alarm.
Exercises of this nature are critical for evaluating Department of Defense response actions. Base and community personnel will continue to focus on improving response plans for the safety of everyone in the local community.
